Straining to fit into a boot. Whining about a finger caught in the wrong mitten. Searching for that elusive toque. Getting your kids outside to play...
On another note, I’ve noticed a crowd of these little critters running around one of my raised beds tonight. I think they are clover mites. From what I’ve read they seem harmless enough, and I haven’t noticed any plant damage in the surrounding area. I’ll keep a close eye on them. I have noticed that something has been making holes in my basil and couple pepper plants. I’m not sure what it is.
Gardening is about attentiveness and awareness of the needs of the plants. Each plant is unique and susceptible to different things. I am learning so much and I know that this is only the beginning.

Oh my so much goodness, it all looks so lovely. Thinning is hard for me too.
It looks wonderful! It is so exciting to watch the garden grow – I'm out there almost every day inspecting my own 🙂 I'm glad you told me about carrots flowering the next year. I have some carrots that I never pulled out and there is a bud! I think if you had not told me I just would have pulled them out. Excited to see what it looks like! Can't wait for more pictures 🙂
