You know that vest that I was so close to finishing? It was
the one that I posted about last week. I frogged it. It seems that I was following the wrong pattern instructions and as a result the vest was enormous! I contemplated finishing it for myself but it was a little small. Note to self:
Noro Kureyon is aran weight. I don’t know what I was thinking.
I’ve had such trouble with knitting my eldest son something. There was a sweater three years ago that I gave up on and then a green vest that never came to be. I’m determined to make something special for him so after unravelling the vest I cast on once again. I love working with Noro yarn so starting over isn’t a bad thing. It just means I get to enjoy working with this yarn a little longer. My son seemed pleased that I am (still) working on his vest.
I have had trouble knitting for my youngest – I keep making him hats though, and he seems to appreciate those 🙂 Well, as much as a 2.5 year old can! What are you planting?
Sorry about the vest, it always hurts just a little when I frog something.
Love the photos 🙂
