Outside we checked on the plants that overwintered. The peach and apples trees are budding. The raspberries and grape vines are beginning as well. The cabbage, spinach, kale and parsnips that I planted last fall are still alive and enjoying the warmer weather. Fun! We still can't see most of the grass, but the snow will soon melt! I will have to take it easy this year, as I have no beds and am about 7 months pregnant. I also am completely unfamiliar with the planting schedule up here, so I will do that research this spring & summer and hopefully have a little garden next year!
We are still buried under foots of snow in Northern BC, hopefully my garden looks like yours soon! Happy gardening!
We really enjoyed the Jaune Flamee last year- I'm so envious of your bare dirt- seems like winter won't quit here!
